• Recognize what types of food establishments are subject to the Idaho Food code.

• Apply for an Idaho Food permit.

This course explains main Food and Drug Administration's (FDA's) labeling requirements. By the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Identify if a food label is required.

• Determine where a food label should be placed.

• Define the parts of a food label.

• Identify when a label needs special information.
